About South Kohala Management

Company History: SKM is the most experienced and trusted name in luxury vacation rentals and resort management on the Kohala Coast. SKM is the only company managing properties in all three Kohala Coast resorts: Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani, and Waikoloa Beach Resort. SKM has serviced over 230,000 vacation rentals nights for our guests and is truly professional in all phases of resort management. 

SKM has two Kohala Coast resort check-in offices which are both open 7 days a week  to serve our guests. We have been on-site at the Waikoloa Beach Resort since 1994 and we have been on-site at the Mauna Lani Resort since 1984. SKM has been here longer than any other company and SKM is the only vacation rental management firm with offices in both resorts.  

SKM is owned and operated by Thomas Hagen.  Mr. Hagen has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Masters of Business Adminsitration degree from the University of Hawaii.  He has over 30 years of experience in all phases of property management and general real estate but has specialized in luxury rentals on the Kohala Coast since 1982.
