Beautiful Condo and Location ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
This was our second stay at Kumulani and this was by far an exceptional experience. The condo is beautifully furnished and the owners have thought of every little extra for their guests comfort. This floor plan has the den which they set up as an office which was perfect for me as this was a working vacation and I had the room needed to set up my laptop and portable printer/scanner. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were high quality. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. We loved the Mauna Kea Club Access and used the fitness centers and beach/pools everyday. Being able to use the facilities at the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince sets this property apart from all others. Trying to come back next year, but Mauna Kea raised the Club Access cost over 200% from this year so it is out of reach for our budget, but we are trying. Love this condo!

Marvelous Mauna Kea Resort, Kumulani Favorite ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
This was our third time at Mauna Kea Resort and second at Kumulani. This unit has upgraded finishes, a well stocked kitchen, a wonderful lanai and tile floors in the main living areas. Beds are very comfortable and linens high quality. It was nice to have the extra space in the den. Views are spectacular. Kumulani is very quiet and a serene neighborhood with access to the two best beaches on the island. It's less touristy, more country club residential vibe and the great views afforded by how the resort is built along the coast and golf course makes Mauna Kea our favorite resort on Hawaii. Purchasing access to the club facilties is worth it. Both Hapuna and Mauna Kea beach are wonderful but there is something just magical and always less crowded at Mauna Kea. South Kohala Management company is very professional and welcoming and does a good job in maintaining, stocking and cleaning the unit. They are quick to respond to emails and phone calls, plenty of cleaning supplies, paper goods and basic spices for cooking were available. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Waimea is less than 20 minutes away with grocery stores and charming shops and excellent restaurants. We also like Cafe Pesto, Blue Dragon and Da Fish House for fresh fish which are less than 3 miles away. ~ The Carson's, Fort Collins, CO (December 2015)×
