Good Condo in a Spectaular Location ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
My wife and I and our two teenage kids just had a wonderful stay in this condo. Views over the fish ponds to the nearby (100 yds) ocean are simply stunning. We really valued the closeness to the beach, the rocky seashore with so many sea turtles and great snorkeling and also to the shops/dining. “Our stay in Mauna Lani was the complete package. The unit comfortably suits four guests with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 1/2 baths and a beautiful, very large porch overlooking the pond on the property (you can see the ocean from the unit). The best part is that you have access to three beaches, all within walking distance. The Beach Club was our favorite because it was very scenic, peaceful and a great place for beginner snorkeling and paddle boarding (renting available on the beach). Did I mention that Obama has been there? I'll save you the research: This condo is located on the sunniest part of the big island, which did not disappoint. The island has many types of weather and we experienced it first hand during our travels around the island. There are also many shops nearby in the complex, including the free Thursday night Polynesian dance show, which was just as good, if not better, than ones you would pay high $$$ for. The management company, South Kohala, is very accommodating and response quite quick. Their communication was excellent leading up to our arrival and out check-out was seamless. Overall, I can say without a doubt that renting this condo is absolutely worth every penny, making our first trip to Hawaii truly magical.” ~Kristyn S. (June 2017)
