The home offers an expansive great room, a separate media room, and multiple areas to gather or relax, all connected by oversized pocket glass doors that completely open to the outdoor living spaces, allowing tropical breezes to flow throughout the home.

Bedroom Accommodations
All five bedrooms feature central air conditioning, spacious walk-in closets, private lanais, and luxurious en-suite bathrooms, providing every guest with comfort, privacy, and personal space.

* Primary Suite (Main House): King bed overlooking the bluff with a spa-inspired bathroom featuring a soaking tub, walk-in shower, private outdoor shower, walk-in closet, private lanai, and central air conditioning.
* Guest Suite 2 (Main House): King bed with en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, private lanai, and central air conditioning.
* Guest Suite 3 (Main House): King bed with en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, private lanai, and central air conditioning.
* Guest Suite 4 (Main House): King bed with en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, private lanai, and central air conditioning.
* Detached Ohana Suite: Located across the courtyard lawn from the main residence, the detached ohana offers outstanding privacy along with ocean views from its private lanai. This spacious king suite includes a large en-suite bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower and extended vanity, plus a walk-in closet and central air conditioning, making it an ideal retreat for guests seeking additional privacy while remaining just steps from the main home.

Limited access to the Kauna'oa Club Facilities, including private 9 hole golf course, is available to renters from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm daily. Access will only be granted to guest who have returned a signed copy of the Kauna'oa Club Facilities Rules and Regulations form and the Community Rules and Regulations form. These forms will be sent to you at time of booking. Please note, golf cart rentals are not allowed at Kauna'oa.

Guests of Hale Malu may purchase daily resort access to enjoy all facilities and amenities at both the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Resorts. Access must be purchased for the entire duration of your stay and covers all registered guests in the unit. Please note: This privilege is offered directly by Mauna Kea Resort, and South Kohala Management is not responsible for any changes to resort services or amenities. Rates are asl follows:
2026: $300 per day (Base Rate) | $450 per day (Peak Rate). Peak rates apply from March 21-April 11, November 21-27, and December 19-January 2, 2027.
2027: Rates have not yet been determined and are subject to change.
