★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived later in the evening due to our schedule. When we opened the front door to enter the house the cold air-conditioning flowed out to greet us in the warm tropical environment. The house was very welcoming with the view of the pool and the Hawaiian music the hosts had playing. Over our stay the house was very spacious allowing us all privacy when desired and the open kitchen and living room for mingling. The pool and hot tub were extremely nice to relax in without needing to go anywhere. We also opened up the house to enjoy the natural breeze that was provided by the environment. The outdoor barbecue was very nice with the small fridge for ease while using the pool and enjoying the yard with local vegetation. I would recommend staying at this location if at all possible. The hosts were also very nice and provided timely updates and responses. My family and I had an excellent time while staying at this amazing property. ~Bryce B. (October 2024)
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rental property was perfect for our 'Ohana. From the space to the amenities and the convenience it was for us to get our convention. Most peaceful, relaxing and welcoming backyard, lanai and pool with the most beautiful view of Ka Mahina rising behind our beautiful Mauna a Wākea. In addition, our host was very easy to work with. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful house. In short, this house was amazing. Beautiful pool and spa - heated perfectly for the family. Extremely responsive - had a battery that needed to be changed for a smoke alarm - phone was answered right away and battery changed on a Sunday immediately. ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location and a perfect fit for our family of 7! Very beautiful and clean house with a pool. We have been to Kona many times and this house had everything we wanted. You have to request for the pool to be heated. There is a set heating temp for the pool. If you want the temperature above that, there is an extra charge a day. Very clean and lots of space. We were sad we didn’t have a pool but the backyard is beautiful and huge, so we just bought the kids backyard activities and they enjoyed it. My wife, three year old, and me LOVED this property. Great size primary bedroom and modern open floor plan in the living room/kitchen. The outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach, and the back yard was in mint condition and great for kicking around the soccer ball. I would Definitely recommend to a friend. ~Cedric B. We really liked the house, it is pretty new and clean. Even though it was not at the beach or walking distance, we had a car and went to at least 10 different beaches. All the hotel beaches are public beaches. I really liked the view of the mountains, it is unobstructed and better than a sliver of a beach. I had my coffee outside every morning looking at the mountains and watching the birds play in the back yard. I like this this was a real house without any shared walls, made it a lot more private.
