★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in unit E103 at Vista Waikoloa for 10 days and really enjoyed our time there. The condo is large, airy, and nicely furnished with big floor-to-ceiling windows and a patio that we loved spending time on. It’s well sheltered from the wind, though you can hear some road noise outside — inside it’s quiet and peaceful. The master bedroom was super comfortable with plenty of storage and a soft bed. No TV in the bedroom, but we didn’t really miss it. The master bathroom was big and had plenty of towels and supplies for our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed (except a rice maker) and the condo came with beach chairs, an umbrella, and floaties, which was a nice bonus. The property is beautiful and in a great location — close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, all within walking distance. South Kohala Management was responsive and helpful when we needed them, and check-in/check-out were seamless. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! ~Yelena L. The view is great, grounds surrounding are beautiful and every morning really enjoyed the various bird families nearby. Walking distance was a little farther than anticipated to A-bay but doable. We only bought food or whatever we were going to cook, the rest, such as condiments, coffee, tea, laundry and dishwasher soaps, shampoo and conditioner, etc. we had in the accommodation. ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to stay. My first visit to the state so I’m not sure how it compares to other places around the island. If you golf this would be ideal, but we could easily drive to beaches for swimming and snorkeling. First time in this unit and it was spacious, clean and well upgraded. We really enjoyed the location in the complex, ground floor was easy access and made for walking to the beach and to the shops easy by cutting through the golf course (I do wish Vista Waikoloa had better walking paths without feeling like you are cutting through something). Unit was very clean and airy and felt very comfortable. AC was nice to have as were the fans. The two lanais were great, meals on the one off the living room at the big table, and some nice loungers off the master. Hose out there to wash off the sand also. Vista Waikoloa pool is nice but didn't use it that much as we enjoyed the short walk to A Bay beach. Probably one of the better complexes for walkability to beach and shops which we do a lot. Took some time to work through a few things but in the end all was corrected. Would definitely recommend this one. ~Paul C. (June - July 2023)

The condo complex was pretty quiet, which we really liked. The patio at this unit is definitely one of the more private ones thanks to its location and effective landscaping. We were relatively close walking distance to a neat wetlands area and coral beach and to restaurants and shops. There were a couple plumbing issues that could happen to anyone staying anywhere but management was very responsive and did a great job making sure it didn't impact our overall experience. ~Jason G. Really enjoyed our stay here. A well maintained and recently updated 2-bed property in Vista Waikoloa, within walking distance of local shops restaurants.
