★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. The view could not be better and we spent every morning and evening with the windows wide open, savoring the view and ocean breeze. We paid for the resort access and for us (two kids) it was well worth it (kids club, pool, towels, tennis). The location is just incredible. Would 10/10 recommend and would do it again! ~Susannah S. Tasteful, soothing interior finishes, very comfortable furniture, best view EVER from either balcony, and listening to the waves while falling asleep and awakening is pure magic. Very well appointed kitchen, though a welcome perk would be some basic things such as olive oil, sugar, soy sauce, but can also appreciate potential concern about hygiene. LOVE the beach chairs and the WAGON was a wonderful surprise to transport groceries from the car, and beach gear to various beaches, not just the beach outside the condo.The resort is beautiful, spacious. Lots of cozy nooks to sit quietly and take in the view, read, contemplate life, on swinging benches, chairs, and various other comfy furniture in the open lobby/terrace areas, all were usually unoccupied. The fitness center was a nice surprise, well kitted out with 24/7 access. The outdoor lounge furniture on the deck outside the fitness center was an unexpected surprise and lovely garden-style area to just spend time, read, or work on the laptop.Highly recommend this unit, the management, and the resort. ~Sonja B. Get to the beach in seconds, gorgeous views, great amenities & attached to a resort if you want to change it up and use the pool, coffee bar & restaurants. This is a GREAT spot in all respects. First, everything spotless. Communication was virtually instantaneous on any questions. They even managed to get us in to the unit two hours early, which was incredibly appreciated! There is everything you need in terms of supplies,and also a decent assortment of oils, spices and sundries that it is helpful not to have to buy. The unit has an awesome view of the beach and we spent every morning sipping coffee on the balcony. Beds were comfy, huge TV, and a truckload of beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Washer/Dryer were very useful though they only handle small loads. We would definitely return, and would definitely be very happy to work with South Kohala Management on this ir any other rental. Thank you! ~Cindy K. (December 2024)

You are close to the beach and all the amenities of the resort, while at the same time you have the privacy and solitude of a beautiful condominium. Ideally located at beautiful Hapuna Beach. Very clean condo with large master suite. Comfortable sitting areas with great views. Enjoyed Westin restaurants which were conveniently located next door to the condo. ~Deidra D. (August - September 2023)

A26 is situated on 2nd FL of Bldg A. Adjacent to the Westin and a short walk to Mauna Kea Resort (liked it better than Westin). Recommend you purchase the resort access. Best feature of the unit were retractable floor-to-ceiling doors allowing great views of Hapuna Beach. Spacious for family of four—altho the second BR seems best-suited for children. Very quiet except for downstairs unit who have large 2-BR w pool/patio — you stare down into their pool area. The adult pool is great. We have stayed at this property prior to it being turned into private condos. The location is the best on the big island. The sunsets from this property were amazing. If we could have stayed longer, we would have. The amenities and the beach are perfect. Snorkeling from right outside from the beach was perfect. Great place. Second floor directly on the beach. Pictures don’t do the justice. Very modern, absolutely beautiful place. Great for a family of 4 . Unit has large ocean front master bedroom with separate master bath. It also has a very small “bedroom“ with bunk bed good for our kids (9,13) but not very usable for adults. Modern unit with a beautiful view of Hapuna Beach from the living room and main bedroom, immediate easy access to the beach and Westin Resort amenities, 15 minute beautiful coastal walk to Mauna Kea beach and resort - two great picturesque beaches/coves. Very comfortable for two of us, well-supplied kitchen to allow us to have some meals in the unit. We spent a lot of time sitting on comfortable armchairs with the floor to ceiling windows open looking out at the beach and ocean. ~Michael M. (October 2022)
