Highlights include the incredible beach/sunset view from the balcony, clean and well stocked kitchen and bathroom, comfy bed, access to the Westin’s amenities, and being steps away from Hapuna Beach. The apt is very modern and clean, and the amenities at the Westin are fabulous if you elect to use the pool/ locker room/ beach/ etc. The beach had great snorkeling- we saw lots of turtles and an octopus! My only complaint, although the listing said they had kitchen basics, we discovered they didn’t have cooking oil, butter, salt, or pepper, which made the first night of cooking a bit difficult. We left our spices so hopefully the next person can enjoy them! Overall, great stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area. ~Rachel R. (August 2025)

The kitchen is fantastic, all new high end appliances so cooking was a breeze (even the knives were sharp), being a chef I really appreciate a fully functional kitchen. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing stay and a place we will definitely come back to anytime we come to the big island. Entire vibe of the place is top notch and very modern, the view of the beach and the sunset views are breathtaking. This is likely the best view on the entire island, nothing came close to this for the price that I found. You can access the beach, and chairs and umbrella are complimentary every day, along with renting snorkel gear for 2 hours daily. hotel staff are all very easy going. There is a hike next to the residences that you can take to go to the Mauna Kea resort The beach is amazing and has tons of snorkeling opportunities, tons of fish to see as well as a turtle or 2. Super clean kitchen, bathroom, organic soaps and bath gel. Kitchen only has the basics, we got stuff from Costco before coming so we stocked the fridge for the duration of our stay. Note there are not many places within walking distance other than hotel restaurants which were decent but not amazing. Rent a car! ~RaheelN. (September 2023)
