Our family of 5, 4 adults and an 8 year old had our best Hawaiian vacation in this unit! Very clean and well appointed with chairs, beach toys, umbrellas and every kitchen appliance you could possibly need. Outdoor area backs up to the golf course, so it seems you have a huge backyard. All sorts of birds visit all day. Indoor garage parking and great pool area. Nearby Foodland shopping for daily sushi or poke and any grocery needs. ~Jane P. (December 2023 - January 2024)

I brought my family here for my ironman 70.3 race and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The price was ideal, the location excellent, the home is absolutely gorgeous, clean and felt like home. The owners (hosts) were communicative. A few minor issues with the Tub draining from previous tenants, but the owner responded immediately and had a plumber out the next morning to resolve the issue. I would highly recommend this spot, the hosts were fantastic, they had clear instructions on the operations of the home and community which were very helpful. What a place! We stayed here for 2 weeks in October and could not have chosen better. The house was equipped with everything we needed, a perfect position for getting around the island and very close to daily amenities like the shops and the beach. Communication was fantastic too. My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at South Kohala. My mother two small children, ages 4 and 6, husband and I all had plenty of space in this beautiful condo. The beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrella, and ice chests made beach days perfect. The grounds were beautiful and we really enjoyed our time at the beach club, pool, and fish ponds available to us as guests. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and the outdoor grill was a fun addition for evenings on the lanai. Every bed has luxurious sheets and excellent mattresses. The owners have thought of everything, no necessities or luxuries seemed to be spared. There is a grocery store minutes from the unit if needed. Furthermore, we felt that South Kohala was in a great location for exploring the Kohala coast with the best beaches on the island being less then 15 minutes away. You can even venture out to Mauna Kea or the Volcano National Park, if you are adventurous and don’t mind a bit if driving to see the island. ~Christina N. (July - August 2022)

This property worked perfect for our family of 6. This property was super clean and the best stocked we’ve ever stayed as far as household items like cleaning supplies, trash bags, dish detergent, spices, etc… they had plenty of beach gear (6 chairs, lots of towels, snorkel sets and some sand toys), we did bring our own carry cooler but they had a couple there for use. The pools were a very short walking distance (located at townhome 5), beach was an easy drive and had on site rentals of SUP, kayaks, etc… The grocery store is walking distance to house (1/2 mile), I did an online pick up order and it was ready first thing the morning after arrival. We loved this place. It has a kitchen well furnished with everything needed. We were 2 families with one kid each and this was big enough for us 6. It's near by a beautiful beach with a restaurant that we loved. Supermarket is a mile away too. Would definitely recommend. ~Marjorie V. (April 2022)
We really enjoyed this property and unit we stayed in. It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and was really clean.
