★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view from the apartment is stunning, and it has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The beach is very close by. King's Shops and Queens' Marketplace are within a 5-minute drive. It was very nice to walk around the neighborhood to take in the beauty of nature and see the birds. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed together for 7 nights in early November 2024.Check-in was stress-free with an email with a code 2 days before.The room is very spacious and relaxing.It has a full kitchen with some oil and seasonings, so it is comfortable for self-catering.There is also a rice cooker.I was shopping at the supermarket outside the resort by car.The Waikoloa Resort was very clean and well-maintained, and it was safe at night.The supermarket in the resort is poorly stocked and expensive, so it is better to have a car.I enjoyed jogging on the coastline every morning.Great place to relax. ~Akiko I. Close to everything we needed, walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, and only a short drive to Waimea or Kona. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hadn't realized when we booked that the master bedroom had a queen bed. My husband is 6'5 and we usually get a king. The hosts let us know they could put the twins together for a king. They were so accommodating. It felt so much like home. The lanai was so relaxing. There's a view of the ocean. What more could we want? Highly recommend this cozy home away from home. Thank you for thinking of everything! We can't wait to come back. From the extra towels to the toiletries in the bathrooms--we appreciated the special touches. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay with South Kohala more! The home was beautiful, clean, and extremely well-appointed. The beds were comfortable, there were lots of towels and linens, and the kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast in and a dinner at home. The location was stunning and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Highlights were starting the day sipping coffee on the deck and enjoying a family dinner in the evening, under the stars. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This condo is quite lovely. It is bright and cheery and very clean. The living area is large and the recent renovations are very nice. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom and there is a 1/2 guest bathroom in the hallway. The kitchen has everything that you will need. There were beach chairs, masks and snorkels, and boogie boards in the twin bedroom closet. The grounds are well cared for and very pretty. We didn’t use the pool but it appears to be well maintained. The condo is in a great location and walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We would definitely stay here again. ~Paula T. (August 2023)

This 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathrooms, condo is in the Vista Waikoloa complex which are the closest condos to the A-Bay beach. Fantastic location and all newly renovated including gorgeous new white and marble bathrooms with walk-in showers. The condo is even nicer than the photos. A double outdoor lanai deck. Very central to everything in Waikoloa village. A gym in a separate building on the property, and a pool. Highly recommend this unit. ~Keitha M. (April 2022)

The condo itself is clean, spacious, and well maintained. The furnishings are excellent and the recently renovated master batch is both functional and luxurious. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is plenty of beach gear as well, including boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and snorkel gear. Also, having a washer and dryer in the unit are a game changer. The grounds of the condo complex are beautifully maintained and have the feel of a quiet retirement community. Within walking distance are high end shopping, restaurants, golf courses, and a small and tame beach suitable for little ones and older folks. A 15-20 minute drive to the north or south are more adventurous beaches for snorkeling, boogie boarding, and surfing as well as bigger stores such as Walmart, Target, and Costco where you can load up on groceries and supplies for longer stays. ~Danielle H. We loved our stay here! The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished, and very comfortable for a group of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, and we loved getting to watch the incredible sunsets from the large patio. We particularly loved that the apartment was only a 10min walk from the beach! The complex also has a nice pool and two hot tubs, as well as numerous umbrellas so you could stay shady. I was nervous about staying at an apartment without many reviews, but you shouldn’t be — this is truly a gem. We hope to be back soon! ~Catherine A. (July 2021)
