★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing stay for first-time Big Island visitors. Super clean which we were greatly appreciative of. For a family of 4 (2 kids under 11 years of age), the place was the perfect spot of having plenty of space but also encouraging everyone to hang out together in the common space. While it's not cheap, it's definitely worth the price considering the equivalent space at a resort would just be two hotel rooms. The surrounding community of residents were all very welcoming and friendly, the fitness center is on par or better with hotel gyms and the pool/hot tub were both great. The staff worked really hard to keep up the area in terms of cleanliness and order which was hard considering the winds were super high the first few days we were there. The garage was full of beach & snorkeling gear which was super kind of the host to offer. The internet was seamless for those that needed to work or kids that needed some screen time. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The booking and check-in process went very smoothly. We love staying at the Mauna Lani and Kohala Coast! This townhouse was spacious & well-equipped for 4 adults and met all of our needs. Gave 4 stars for cleanliness because we were met with a kitchen plumbing issue upon check-in, but the property manager took care of repairs quickly. We look forward to visiting again soon! ~Angela D.
